GB Cullet Ltd based in Barnsley is a family run glass recycling company. Brothers Gary and Bryn Hopkins,
could see the potential growth of the business, but knew they didn't have the right structure and focus to
the business. Through the Barnsley Enterprise Coaching scheme A4B worked with the Directors to develop their
business strategy going forward.
"Basically it is 100 per cent recycling," said Bryn. "We are experts at recycling double-glazing units
and don’t want to become general waste recyclers. We believe in sticking with what we are good at."
We helped the team to develop daily and weekly reporting systems that gave the key people the information
to make daily decisions directly related to bottom line performance.
Information gathered enabled the team to optimise logistic flow into the processing plant giving increased
processing efficiencies.

Gary said the coaching from Action 4 Business has really made a difference to the way they run the business.
"It makes you look at the business differently, because we are used to looking at it in a certain way and that
may not necessarily be management style."
